Yeager Airport to hold Tuesday tour of Keystone Drive cleanup progress

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Yeager Airport will hold a media tour Tuesday of the work done so far on the Keystone Drive debris removal project.

According to an airport release, approximately 377,000 cubic yards of debris caused by last year’s hillslide have been removed with another 130,000 cubic yards still to go.

Media members interested in attending were asked to report to the 20 minute parking lot in front of the main terminal by 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The Kanawha County Commission and Yeager Airport Executive Director Terry Sayre will be on hand to answer questions.
