CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston authorities are investigating an incident involving a train striking a person on Tuesday.
According to the Charleston Police Department, the train struck Shayla Stephenson, 28, near the intersection of Crescent Road and Buchanan Street after 6 p.m.
The train was traveling north at the time.
Stephenson was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center General for injuries.
