Woman rescued from apartment fire in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Kanawha County dispatchers said a woman had to be rescued from an apartment on fire in Charleston.

The fire broke out just before 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Orchard Manor Apartment Complex in the 1200 block of Griffin Drive.

The conditions of the woman are unknown at this time. No other injuries have been reported.

A cause for the fire is under investigation.
