MADISON, W.Va. — A woman critically injured in a weekend fire in Boone County has died.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office said the victim was 47.
The victim and another person were taken to the Burn Intensive Care Unit at Cabell Huntington Hospital after the Saturday night fire at a house located on 3rd Avenue in Madison.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined. The blaze broke out at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
