Water main break floods South Charleston home

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A high pressure water main break caused one home to flood in Kanawha County Sunday morning.

West Virginia American Water Company crews are working to shut off the water that began leaking at a home in South Charleston at around 6 a.m. U.S. Route 119 has been temporarily shut down.

According to the South Charleston Fire Department, water was still rapidly shooting out as of 9 a.m. Water company officials said repairs could last until 8 p.m.
