Victim of fatal St. Albans shooting is identified

ST. ALBANS, W.Va. — More details have come out on the fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday outside of St. Albans, including the victim’s name.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department said Thomas Parish, 44 of St. Albans, was shot and killed during a domestic disturbance by his sister-in-law, Serenity Metz, 21 of St. Albans.

Parish’s wife, Aubrey Parish, 29 of St. Albans, was present at the time of the incident at the residence on Shadywood Lane, in the Brown’s Creek area.

Parish was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation as no arrests have been made.
