Two more FEMA disaster recovery centers to close Saturday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — FEMA will close two more of its flood disaster recovery centers in Nicholas and Kanawha counties this weekend.

The DRC’s at Crede Warehouse on U.S. Route 119 and at 6 White Street in Richwood will close on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Those affected by the June 23 flood still have until Wednesday, Sept. 6 to register for disaster assistance with FEMA.

Many of the services available at the DRC’s are also available on the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362, which operates from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, until further notice.
