CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Kanawha County personnel cleared debris and blockages from Kanawha Two Mile Creek Wednesday caused by flooding on Christmas Day.
Kanawha County Planning, Kanawha Sheriff’s Day Report, WV Department of Corrections, WV REAP, private businesses and Kanawha DHSEM were all involved in the cleanup.
The effort hoped to lessen the impact of flooding in the future.
The work took place along Kanawha Two Mile Creek downstream from PSI Circle and downstream toward Route 21.
