WINFIELD, W.Va. — Two men pleaded guilty and were sentenced in Putnam County Monday for illegally re-entering the United States.
Nero Fernandez-Fernando and Ramiro Lopez Chilel were sentenced to time already served, and transferred to the Department of Homeland Security to be deported.
Fernandez-Fernando and Lopez-Chilel were both employees of the Casa Grande Restaurant in Eleanor. Department of Homeland Security investigators encountered both men during an investigation in the Eleanor area.
Both had previously been convicted of crimes and deported before.
