Two homes hit in West Side shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police launched an investigation Tuesday evening following a shooting on the West Side.

Two Park Avenue homes were hit by gunfire around 8 p.m.

Police said they are looking for a red SUV, possibly a Nissan Xterra. They also said they are looking for a young man who allegedly was shooting at the vehicle as other people were shooting at him. He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall.

No one was hit by the gunfire.
