Truck loaded with flood debris crashes Friday morning, backs up interstate rush hour commute

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A truck loaded with flood debris crashed Friday morning near the I-64/77 split at the Leon Sullivan Way exit.

The crash, which happened just before noon, blocked off two lanes and slowed traffic significantly for several hours.

The tractor-trailer was carrying trash and metal skidded onto its side. No injuries were reported, according to Metro 911 dispatchers.
