POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — A crash near Point Pleasant Thursday afternoon sent three people to the hospital and closed Route 2 Ripley Road for several hours.
Police say a dump truck hit a pickup truck, which sent the pickup truck over the center line, causing it to collide head-on with another vehicle.
The driver of the dump truck and the driver of the pickup truck were airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital. Both were in stable condition, deputies said.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital, and was also in stable condition.
