KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — A 17-year-old faces charges following a shooting in Hernshaw Monday.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said the male shot a 21-year-old man in the parking lot of the post office. The victim was buying drugs at the time when he was shot in the hand.
The victim was taken to Charleston Area Mediacl Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The alleged shooter has been charged with malicious wounding.
