CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A trooper for West Virginia State Police will be out of work for a while following a hunting related incident.
State police placed First Sergeant A.D. Nichols, along with another individual, on administrative leave on Nov. 23.
Troopers are investigating. The state Division of Natural Resources is also investigating any potential hunting violations which may have occurred.
