Sissonville woman charged after multiple fires

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. — A Sissonville woman faces charges after the state Fire Marshal’s Office says she set fire to multiple locations in the county.

Jenna Garnes, 24, is charged with two counts of second-degree arson and one-county of third-degree arson.

Investigators said Garnes set multiple fires on May 4, including at the Sissonville Detachment of the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, the Sissonville Health Clinic and Sissonville Post Office.

Authorities arrested Garnes on May 6. She is currently at South Central Regional Jail.
