Single suspect in West Side shootings turns himself in

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man wanted by Charleston police in connection with shootings on the West Side turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday.

Tre Davis, 31, also had an outstanding warrant for strangulation.

Charleston police named Davis and five other men on Friday for their alleged roles in violence in the neighborhood. The other individuals — Daniel Battle, Sharlot Gore, Lawrence Foye, Malik Hawk and Braheem Griffin — are still wanted.
