Perfect Angels Childcare is located at the corner of Ohio Ave. and 13th Street diagonally across from Dunbar Intermediate School.

Delia Waller, one of the directors of Perfect Angels, said staying in Dunbar shows their commitment to the city.

“We believe in unity, unity of community and unity of family,” Waller said. “Our mission is to serve the citizens of Dunbar.”

Waller said she’s looking forward to more small businesses moving into the area.

“I think this is very important because small businesses can generate more small businesses. It helps citizens know we are concerned about our town,” Waller said.

Mayor Greenlee said it was important to keep the business in the same location with the change of ownership.

“I’m so glad that they continue to do their business here in Dunbar because that’s what we’re all about is trying to bring in new business like the new Ollie’s coming in and keeping our existing businesses in town,” Greenlee said.

The site for the Ollie’s variety store is under construction at the Dunbar Plaza in the old Ames location. Greenlee said the store could be open by next March. He said the developers are pleased with the location.

“The location is visible from the interstate. A lot of people come through the (Dunbar Bridge) area. They expect to do a lot of business here,” Greenlee said
