SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Beckley man was arrested Tuesday after police seized nearly 50 pounds of marijuana from a truck.
South Charleston police took Russell Smith III around 7 p.m. He faces charges of aggravated driving under the influence and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
According to authorities, Smith acknowledged he had drugs in the vehicle upon being asked.
