CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police on Monday released the name of the person struck by a train over the weekend.
Michael Adam Woodrum, 30, of Charleston, died after being hit by a westbound CSX train Saturday.
The incident happened near the intersection of South Park Road and Chesterfield Avenue around 2:25 a.m.
Authorities pronounced Woodrum dead at the scene.
