Person involved in Marmet shooting dies

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — One of the men involved in a Monday triple shooting in Marmet has died.

According to the Marmet Police Department, 41-year-old Nathan Teel died from his injuries.

Authorities said Teel was arguing with 52-year-old Tony Lyttle and 20-year-old William Atkinson about a shared driveway between two homes. Teel shot Lyttle and Atkinson before running to another location in a yard and shooting himself in the head.

All three were taken to the hospital

Lyttle was in intensive care with several gunshot wounds on Tuesday. Atkinson has been released.

The shooting remains under investigation.
