OAK HILL, W.Va. — A Fayette County man died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night on U.S. Route 19 in Oak Hill, police said.
Joshua Wade Banks, 30, of Oak Hill, was walking near the Summerlee Avenue exit at shortly after 10 p.m. when he was hit.
Banks was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed against the 18-year-old driver. There was no evidence of alcohol or drugs in connection with the driver or the victim, police said.
