CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Nitro man is in police custody three days after an alleged home invasion in Charleston.
Joseph Daniel Hardwick, 32, allegedly stole items from a home on Dogwood Road.
West Virginia State Police responded to a location in Cross Lanes after receiving a call that Hardwick had suffered an overdose.
Hardwick is receiving treatment at Thomas Memorial Hospital, where he is under arrest and being guarded by Charleston police officers.
