PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. — A new trial date has been scheduled for a man accused of biting a police officer and fleeing authorities.
Grant Crul was first arrested in September 2016 for making a terroristic threat against employees at the Day Report Center. He later allegedly bit a Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputy while under arrest before leading officers on a chase.
Following a hearing Monday, a new trial date was set for Oct. 22. New counsel has been on the case for around three weeks.
