Montgomery man pleads guilty for drug trafficking work

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Montgomery man pleaded guilty Thursday for distributing and possessing heroin and oxycodone.

Rory White, 34, was indicted in June 2017 following an investigation of drug trafficking in southern West Virginia.

White admitted to taking part in a scheme between October 2016 and June 28, 2017. He also admitted to working with others to distribute heroin and oxycodone in Fayette County, including 900 grams of heroin and 5,400 oxycodone tablets.

White faces between five and 40 years in prison. He will be sentenced June 6.
