Men plead guilty for May 2017 CVS robbery

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Three men pleaded guilty Monday for robbing a CVS Pharmacy last year.

James Michael Jamal Brown, Darryl Lamont Harvey Jr. and Marquis Demar Smith, all from Indianapolis, admitted to entering the Oakwood Road CVS in Ma 2017. Each man was carrying an air pressure gun.

Brown ordered a customer and employee to the floor and Harvey took prescription drugs from a pharmacist. He also took a cellphone and wallet from an employee. Smith took a wallet from a customer.

Brown, Harvey and Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree robbery, with each county associated with five to 18 years of incarceration. Brown is scheduled to be sentenced September 11, while Harvey and Smith will be sentenced September 12.
