Man wanted for stabbing mother and her boyfriend

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man is wanted after stabbing his mother and her boyfriend Tuesday morning at their South Charleston home.

Vincent Baisi is accused of committing the acts at a house in the 200 block of 10th Avenue.

Police said Baisi entered Deborah Burke’s residence while she was sleeping and accused her of trying to kill him by giving him cancer. She told investigators that is when he stabbed her repeatedly.

Police added Baisi stabbed John Samples when he arrived at the residence. Baisi took Samples’ 2008 Ford Ranger, which has a West Virginia license plate number 7ZW552.

Samples and Burke were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Baisi faces two counts of malicious wounding and one count of grand larceny.
