BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police arrested a man Tuesday who allegedly is connected to a suspicious death case.
Allen Lambert was charged with murder in the death of Charles Lester. According to troopers, Lester, 63, was found dead at a residence near North Fork in the Big Ugly area on Oct. 1. There was no sign of forced entry.
Lambert was arrested in the Clothier area while in a pickup truck, which authorities say was stolen Friday in Camp Creek.
Troopers also said Lambert has also been charged with grand larceny in connection to the vehicle.
