Man arrested for role in April chase

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities arrested a Hurricane man on Sunday more than a month after he allegedly led Dunbar police on a chase.

Dennis Snyder, 28, faces charges of reckless indifference, obstruction, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and receiving or transferring stolen goods.

Dunbar police attempted to pull Snyder over on April 19 when they realized the vehicle he was in had stolen plates. The vehicle crashed on Roxalana Road and caught on fire. Snyder and another passenger ran away from the scene.

Snyder is now being held in South Central Regional Jail.
