Man arrested after West Side arson incident

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man was arrested by the Charleston Police Department Wednesday after allegedly throwing a lighted plastic container through the window of a West Side home.

William Henry Jr. faces first-degree arson charges, allegedly saying “I will kill you” before throwing the device into the York Avenue home.

The victims inside the house at the time, Joseph Rose and Crystal Rose, told police that Henry Jr. threw the device after a drug related argument.
