MALDEN, W.Va. — A Kanawha County man was arrested Wednesday for first-degree sexual assault of a minor.
Douglas Richard Eddy, 41, of Malden is accused of digitally sexually assaulting the girl, who is the daughter of a former co-worker of Eddy’s.
The investigation began in Dec. 2015 after the victim described the incident to her mother, and to an expert at the CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital’s Child Advocacy Center.
