Loaded gun confiscated from Yeager security check point

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Another gun has been confiscated by police at Yeager Airport, according to a release from the Transportation Security Administration.

Yeager police said James Menear, 62, of Huntington, had a loaded gun in his carry on bag when he went through the TSA security checkpoint. Police confiscated a Browning .25 calibre semi-automatic pistol and a box cutter.

It happened at around 6:25 p.m. Tuesday.

This is the first firearm to be confiscated at the airport this year.
