Live on the Levee opens Friday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee kicks off Friday night at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.

The event headliner will be DeRobert and the Halftruths with the opening act by The M.F.B.

“We got 13 new first timers on the stage, 6 or 7 returning favorites from the local community and a ton of great headliners,” said Adam Harris, music chair for Live on the Levee.

All of the concerts are free.

Music starts at 6:30 p.m. with the headliner starting at 7:30 p.m. Entry starts at 5:00 p.m. and will end around 9:30 p.m.

You can join the West Virginia Radio family of stations at each concert this summer.

“It’s going to be a funktastic night,” FestivALL Director Brittany Javins said.

The first Live on the Levee of the season will also serve as part of the FestivALL preview weekend.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the Boulevard near Haddad it will be Taste of All.

“It’s capped at 20 restaurants this year,” Javins said. “This is a really fun way to (check out restaurants) all in one spot.”

FestivALL begins June 16.
