Kanawha County Public Library expands hours

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Kanawha County Public Library is giving citizens more of a chance to take advantage of its services in the coming months.

The library has announced additional operating hours beginning on Sunday that will run until Spring. The library will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

“This something we do pretty much every year for a few months at a time just to give us the opportunity to provide more programming and resources and give the patrons an opportunity to use our resources,” Stuart Frazier, the Marketing Coordinator for Kanawha County Public Library said.

According to the library, the additional programming will also be available including a performance from award-winning cosplay/dance troupe, Final Fusion and a celebration of Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
