CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Police arrested two Kanawha County residents Tuesday in connection with a stabbing last month.
A criminal complaint said that 43-year-old Angela Bunting of Charleston and 59-year old Richard Riffe of South Charleston got into a verbal argument inside Bunting’s Quarrier Street home. After exchanging blows, Bunting allegedly stabbed Riffe in the stomach.
Riffe told police the wound was 5 to 6 inches deep. He drove himself to the hospital and was released after he was treated.
Both face malicious wounding charges and are being held in South Central Regional Jail on$25,000 bail.
