Juvenile in custody in connection with Sissonville High bomb threat

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. — Kanawha County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile Thursday on two counts of making terrorist threats in connection with a bomb threat at Sissonville High School Wednesday.

The juvenile allegedly used an app on his cell phone to call in the threat, masking his location and identity.

Detectives with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, along with a School Resource Officer, investigated and linked the calls to the juvenile.

The juvenile was being held at the James H. “Tiger” Morton Juvenile Center. The investigation was still ongoing.
