RIPLEY, W.Va. — A Jackson County woman faces charges after she handed utility workers her 1-year-old child and walked away.
West Virginia State Police said Myra Green, 28, approached workers with Appalachian Power near the Cedar Hills Trailer Park and gave them the child.
Authorities said Green may have been under the influence of drugs at the time. She faces child neglect charges and is in jail on $25,000 bond.
