ST. ALBANS, W.Va. — The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into the death of a baby in St. Albans.
Authorities said they responded to Whispering Oaks on Saturday to investigate a medical emergency involving a child. The child, an 8-month-old girl, died Monday at a medical center.
No charges have been filed.
