CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Sunday afternoon drive got a little more exciting than an elderly Charleston woman had planned.
The driver lost control of her car, hit a truck, hit a pedestrian and then ran into Canaan United Methodist Church on Roane Street in Charleston, police said.
Those involved were taken to a hospital for treatment.
