CROSS LANES, W.Va. — A family received quite a scare Tuesday morning when a large tree fell onto their home.
It happened at a residence in the 1100 block of Fishers Branch Road at about 7:45 a.m. The tree crushed the residence, the family was not injured.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family in finding another place to live.
