Hobby Lobby coming to South Charleston

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — National craft store chain Hobby Lobby plans on opening a store in South Charleston, though an opening date has not yet been released.

The store would be located at the former site of Gander Mountain, which closed last year following the company’s bankruptcy.

According to building permits, renovations are expected to cost $1.35 million. Related work includes fitting the vacant space for Hobby Lobby purposes and adding an enclosed vestibule under an existing canopy.
