Graves preserves right to continue recount in House of Delegates 38th District Republican nomination

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — A recount of ballots is scheduled to take place at the Voters Registration Office on Thursday, May 24 at 1 p.m.

Kanwaha County Clerk Vera McCormick said in a statement on Friday that the office had recieved a letter and $300 from House of Delegates member Dianna Graves. Graves was stating that she was giving her intent to preserve her right to continue the recount of the House of Delegates 38th District Republican ballots if it is stopped at any point.

A Kanawha County Deputy Sheriff had served Graves with a notice on Wednesday at 6 p.m. regarding the recount.
