Former security systems installer arrested for burglaries

MOUNT HOPE, W.Va.–A man was arrested Wednesday and charged with burglary, grand larceny and a parole violation.

Police say that 30-year-old Mount Hope native Joseph Fell is a suspect in several burglaries which occurred in Fayette, Greenbrier, Kanawha and Raleigh counties. He allegedly abused his position as a security systems installer to return to the residences weeks later and break into them.

Property allegedly stolen from the residences broken into was found at Fell’s home, as well as thirty marijuana plants.

Fell is currently in Southern Regional Jail awaiting arraignment, and further charges will be forthcoming.
