SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — One apartment was destroyed and eight other units were damaged in a fire Thursday in South Charleston.
Fire fighters responded to Southmore Hills Apartments on Colonial Park Drive around 11 a.m.
According to officials, no tenants were injured but one dog died.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
