NITRO, W.Va. — Fire crews from Kanawha and Putnam counties were on the scene Friday afternoon with report fo smoke at the Mardi Gras Casino hotel in Nitro.
There smoke coming out of the second floor when crews arrived on the scene at shortly after 1:30 p.m.
Hotel guests and staff members were evacuated. There were no injuries.
No word yet on what caused the heavy smoke.
