CROSS LANES, W.Va. — Officials at Andrew Jackson Middle School seized a fidget spinner from a student on Wednesday, as the toy appeared to look like a loaded gun revolver.
Kanawha County Schools communications director Briana Warner said while the toy did not cause any harm, it was confiscated and not be allowed in the school.
According to Warner, the district’s security director worked “quickly and closely” with law enforcement to share information.
