DUNBAR, W.Va. — A Kanawha County man is behind bars for allegedly killing his son in a shooting at an apartment complex late Saturday night.
Larry Edward White, 57, of Dunbar, was charged with first degree murder. His son Corey White, 26, was found dead from an apparent gun shot, according to authorities.
The shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m. at the Roxalana Hills Apartments in Dunbar. Police said the incident was a result of a dispute between the two. Both were living together in the apartment.
Larry White is currently being held in the South Central Regional Jail.
The Dunbar Police Department and the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
