FAIRPLAIN, W.Va. – A Jackson County woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Wednesday morning while walking to catch a bus.
According to Jackson County Sheriff Tony Boggs, Linda Stutler, 61, of Fairplain, was walking on Route 21 near the Fairplain exit when she was hit by a car.
The accident happened around 7:30.
The driver did stop after the accident. Boggs said they are not looking at charging the driver.
