Crews to begin work on Corridor G off-ramp Monday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Division of Highways announced Wednesday an upcoming project on a concrete overpass ramp from U.S. Route 119 to Interstate 64.

The project involves replacing the concrete bridge deck of the ramp.

The ramp will be subject to nighttime closures, and there will be partial closures of U.S. Route 119.

Construction will begin April 17 from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. According to a news release, the contractor will be required to close one lane of U.S. Route 119 during these hours.

The division said drivers can use the Beckley/Huntington on-ramp or Jefferson Road. Trucks will be routed to Jefferson Road during the project.

Kokosing Construction Company is responsible for the project. The expected completion date is set for August 13.
