Chipotle to open Charleston restaurant in Southridge

CHARLESTON, W.Va–Chipotle plans to open its first ever Charleston restaurant in Southridge.

The restuarant will be located on Mountaineer Boulevard between Bob Evans and the former Texas Steakhouse. The 3,200 square foot restaurant will feature an outdoor eating area.

The permit for the $300,000 project has not yet been issued. Chipotle’s mission is to serve fast food that is healthier, more natural, and better tasting than its counterparts. The main attraction of its menu is burritos, but they also serve salads and tacos.

The company hopes to open the chain by the end of the year.
