CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Charleston child is in stable but critical condition after being struck by a car Friday morning.
According to the Charleston Police Department, the incident happened in the 600 block of South Park Road.
The child, 5, was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center.
An investigation into the crash is underway. Investigators do not anticipate charges will be filed.
